I have a few categories that are annoying me when trying to calculate my spending habits. - e.g. “Holidays”.
Often, I need to book trips in advance. This means that my pre-booked travel and expenses are logged in the month I booked them in, not the month when I’m actually on holiday.
This results in a sort of weird split which makes holiday expenditure tricky to track as I could go “over budget” the month I booked the holiday, and then stayed within budget the month I actually went on the holiday and was spending money on food etc.
Does anyone have a good solution for this? Or do we need a new feature to have certain spending take effect in a different month?
