ID for a 16 year old

Hi

I have a monzo account and my 16 year old wants an account. However, no passport and certainly not a licence.
Is a birth certificate enough?

Before you start, you’ll need your mobile phone and a valid ID. We accept your:

  • Passport
  • Driving licence (your provisional is fine)
  • National ID card
  • Biometric residency permit

It is possible to get a provisional licence from 15 years and 9 months- this is what I’d suggest you do to meet the above requirements ^^

I have a provisional I use purely for ID purposes, and I suggest doing the same
