Ha my kids speak that way, it always freaks them out when I use their slang although I do tend to do it when in front of their friends

I think one of the big things is Monzo is the only app only bank that I know off that kids can use on Apple Pay / Google Pay. I have a friend who have been all for starling but when I got the kids Monzo accounts and mentioned it she was saying her kids had starling accounts but were frustrated as they couldn’t use Apple / Google pay till they were 16. I mentioned Monzo was from 13 and her two had just turned 13 & 15 so she has now got Monzo. This could be another reasons why you are seeing Monzo on their phones. - not even sure all traditional banks allow phone payments under 16 x
