Export that as a 32kbps mp3 for the authentic hold music experience
Found a press release that explains it: https://www.about.hsbc.co.uk/-/media/uk/en/news-and-media/190904-sounds-of-home-press-release.pdf
Surprisingly cool to read.
Let’s make one of those tracks the most streamed one on Apple Music for 2026.
I seem to only be able to use ‘Money Trends’ for my current account and not my credit card, is that a known issue?
I have it selected and activated along with my current account but it doesn’t show credit card transactions. If I turn off the current account account it shows nothing?
It gets there eventually. Might need to ask via help for them to take a look.
Thanks, I’ve only had the credit card just over a week so maybe I need to be more patient!
Pretty sure @JIMMWX had to wait a while.
So that happened to me. I raised it as a support ticket in the end and re-raised it when it didn’t fix it the first time. They’re working now but I don’t have any spend history before they fixed it for the debit card.
One thing I perhaps miss about Lloyds is the spending insights on HSBC are better in some ways (budgets) but worse in others (can’t set a category to remember it, can’t set a custom period)
On a related note I had chance to use the HSBC health service, via Square recently. Since I also used the Lloyds option (Bupa) I thought people might be interested.
Both were decent enough to book, but the HSBC won out in terms of ease of use. In terms of the appointments I’d say HSBC also wins easily here. It might be look but the Dr I saw seemed much more invested in what I needed, explained next steps and even offered a follow up in a month or so and for assistance either sorting any further action via themselves or referral to NHS.
Ah, to be young, free and careless.
The HSBC money trends is ok but since a fair amount of my spending goes on my Amex card for the rewards, I find I need to use Monzo trends to see everything in one place.
I’m also trialing YNAB again, which is quite good.
That reminds me, another week or so and my first year is up so I can get the HSBC Health blood test thingy sent out again
I tried twice do to the blood test thingy and I just couldn’t do it. I felt I was going to bleed out in my kitchen, when I didn’t even do half the container.
Wondering what new benefits will 2026 bring ![]()
Anyone here have HSBC US and HSBC UK who can compare the rate they give on internal USD-GBP transfers to Wise?
