Time to start thinking of it’s worth getting one of the Premier credit card to make the most of the partner offers then.
Given Barclays hates me and can’t get the Avios credit card, I’m thinking of the Premier World Elite for at least 1 year to get the welcome bonus. Then downgrade to the free one.
Did you fall into the new requirements? I only ask because I remained with Premier for now, but know that eventually they might write to say I don’t - Also I closed the premier CC down and I’d be super annoyed if I could’ve just kept it.
That’s also an option for me. However, some basic cost comparisons have already revealed I would be putting myself at a significant disadvantage in moving my investments to HSBC. They aren’t exactly competitive in comparison to other options on the market.
Do you feel that potentially paying extra on the investment side might be worth it for the extra Premier perks? This would be very subjective, I suppose.
My current employer provides Bupa for myself and my partner. I’m intending to change job very soon and unsure what level of cover the next place will provide.
I will keep an eye on how the new HSBC app develops before I make any decisions.
It depends tbh, how much at a loss would you be if you move stuff to HSBC? Like does the account value equal more than the loss to move.
Like say the value of the HSBC is £100 a month and you are less of by £50 a month then it makes sense to use HSBC.
Personally the insurance (Square Health) is probs around the same value of Bupa, if not more as the yearly health check. So the £50-£60 that I would be saving would be worth the move.
I received the email with the Square Health perks today. I doubt whether it covers everything that Bupa does, though - there’s no mention of covering private consultations or surgery, for example.
If I apply for the Premier WE card, does it show up right away in the app and ready to use via Apple Pay (like the Global Money card) or do I have to wait for the card to physically arrive?
