Ah I see. I suspect that the whole premier offering is going to change completely later this year, and one of two things will happen.
Premier will remain as is, only you’ll need to be rich or have a HNW role to get it. If it’s that, I can’t see why anyone would stay for it.
Advance will in effect become the ‘new premier’ for the mass-affluent market, similar to Lloyds 360 and change slightly.
I’m a little relaxed about this. Utilmately a bank has to run like a business. It cost them more to provision the account than they liekly made, and perhaps wasn’t the loss leader to private banking they thought it might be.
I will miss the travel insurance, and in fact if they turned premier into a paid for account I’d pay it, but other than that apart from the premier bit of the card I won’t really notice it. Never used the benefits on the Premier CC really.
