Hi everyone ![]()
I’m Cátia, a Backend Engineer at Monzo working in a product-facing team on partner integrations.
We’ve just published a blog post about how we ship constantly in fast-paced product teams
It’s a look at our day-to-day ways of working. From lightweight weekly planning and longer-term roadmapping, to writing proposals, and running test parties to iterate quickly.
The post shares patterns I’ve seen across different teams, which might be especially interesting if you work in (or are curious about) product teams. At Monzo, we’re not strict about following Scrum or heavy rituals. Planning is light, communication is open by default, and everyone stays in sync on what’s in flight and what’s coming next. This all makes it much easier to shift priorities and focus on actually building the thing.
We’d love to answer any questions you have about the blog, how we work in practice, or what it’s like building and shipping in a team at Monzo! ![]()
