How does the 'send money' feature work?

Hi,

Just thought I’d ask how the send money to contacts feature works?

Does it send them a text asking for their info to receive the payment or is it a system similar to Paym? Or is it something else entirely?

Sorry if this is a strange question, I’ve been exploring the app as I got my card this morning so just wondered as it wasn’t straightforward what would happen after I tapped send.

At the moment, it just works Mondo user to Mondo user. Looking the phone number up against Mondo’s own directory of numbers and shifting the money internally between accounts. Shows up as a notification and feed entry.
