Yup the changes aren’t a big deal at all. They have pretty much all been common sense this whole time. Be aware of other people particularly those who are more vulnerable.
Exactly, it’s just codified some basic road using skills. It’s entirely things that sensible road users were doing already, the difference is now it’s in the Highway Code, people not doing this who hit someone could be penalised in court cases.
Tell you what annoyed me today, picked up my 1st motor and drove it back. Was dark by the time I was getting near home.
The amount of people walking dogs across the road just all dressed in black. Like hello I can just about see your silhouette against what little light is available. Common sense must have gone out the window a long time ago. At least wear something reflective whilst out at night 
Bikes without lights… how do they survive. Deliveroo drivers are the worst for this in London. Almost invisible.
