Chase UK has a feature whereby you can open up pots but these pots have seperate account numbers etc. You can also switch the account that physical card payments come out from too.
I think that would really make Monzo amazing if they could replicate that functionality
Pots aren’t accounts. They don’t have account numbers.
You can pay and get a virtual card and pay from your chosen pot.

The main thing would be to be able to flip your physical card to be able to use any pot (or account!) you chose.
Monzo’s way of doing this is virtual cards. The Chase way is much messier.
You could always bank with Chase?
Virtual cards are great if you do online shopping or have subscriptions but if you are physically out and you want to pay from a specific pot you can’t.
Would also be good if you were abroad and had your holiday spending money in a seperate pot. Then all you would need to do is flip the physical card to that pot and use that money

Just use your holiday virtual card on your trip.
I did but I closed the account and now they won’t let anyone who has closed reopen an account

Not sure Monzo would adopt the additional account numbers process. I have always wondered why you can’t open an additional account.
Starling allows two accounts, which you can change the card to, and open Spaces within each.
