Is this a problem that needs addressing so much? Should be passed eventually and hopefully won’t be an issue anymore.
Also, Monzo could publicly call on the government to go further and commit to requiring proof of identity for these events (Dua Lipa and Coldplay have publicly stated they want the government to kill scalping already, which makes me think that this wouldn’t so much be a politicial statement so much as something we all hate being addressed). That way you couldn’t resell them at all and any ticket reselling would have to be through offical platforms (which can be regulated to face value with literally no chance of scams).
