Ah yes, used to love HSBC for that…
I wish more of those machines were around! Hate faffing with the coin bags for Lloyds
. Refuse to use the coin star ones in Tesco since they charge you.
Let’s spin the wheeeeeeeel
The CoinStar at my local Sainsbury’s used to be free if you took it as store credit?
Interesting. I’ll check that out.
We don’t need branches, imagine monzo done mortgages, they could design the app that it could be used on iPad, and a few examples of how technology could be done is say how Apple just announced FaceTime, you could be having an in app chat with a monzo mortgage advisor, and solicitor etc and when documents need to be signed they automatically appear and can be signed in the app. This way questions can be answered and things easily explained.
I visited my legacy bank to cash a load of coinage and promptly got told off for not having put exactly £2 of 2p’s in the requisite bag. Now I assumed that as they had to weigh them anyway, as long as the bags were sorted it would be okay ![]()
Anyway: that was my exciting visit to an irl branch, my first in probably years.
You’re not alone, this is what I thought
, I guess if we sort them it saves them paying someone to do it ![]()
Get a Metro account, they have a coin machine in every branch where you just drop them in and you can add the funds to your account by tapping the debit card on the machine.
I heard anyone can do this without a metro account, the machine gives you a voucher and you collect the notes or whatever from the counter?
Looking forward to using this when it comes to Cardiff.
yeah anyone can use, I did post a link somewhere before confirming it dunno where though.
