Looks nice! I think my Google Home just packed it in (& Iām out of RMA period

My Google Home is definitely dead - it just wonāt respond to āok/hey googleā. Had this happen a couple of months ago, I got a RMA for it but the day I was gonna send it back it started working again & I thought nothing of it.
About a week ago the same issue started again and itās still like it. Donāt believe I can RMA it now so looks like the Home Hub is on the horizonā¦

Full size one? Have you taken the top part off and cleared out any dust that might have accumulated around the mics? I feel like I did that on my full size one maybe 6 months agoā¦

Contact Google - even if youāre out of your warranty period, their support is generally very good. Let them know youāve raised it previously. Let us know how you get on

I agree. My wife is still using my release day Nexus 5x that has been replaced out of warranty twice

I set mine upstairs to tell us whoās at the door when someone rings the bell (weāve missed people because the downstairs home mini isnāt loud enough). Slightly confusingly you have to enable a seemingly unrelated option which enables calendar items on the main screen before itāll see it as anything other than a standard cameraā¦ but it works well when that is enabled.
The auto dimming is nice and works well.
Itās also a chromecast target although I canāt see myself casting anything to a 6 inch screen in the corner of the room 
Other than thatā¦ itās a google assistant device and does all the same things.

I hear casting is still weirdly inconsistent on these, which is a shame (Netflix being the big example)
Iāve tried searching to see when/if Netflix is coming but havenāt found anything 
(Edit) Iāve just tweeted Netflix/Google, will see what they say (or be ignored)
I tell my Google Home what to play on my living room TV from Netflix and it works fine!
I meant casting content to the display itself

I believe they are going to be Ā£99 on the Google Store from 22nd. Definitely planning to treat myself. Thatāll be 9 Google Home speakers around the house

Yeah, I bought one a few days ago. Got it in the kitchen Iāve grouped my original Google Home in the kitchen with it, sounds great.
