That’s a very dignified and mature see you later post. Bravo. A lot of us older folks could learn a thing or two from you.
It’s a shame, and I will personally miss you and your contributions, but I suspect @ndrw is right. So you better return in 13 months with a card collection that blows theirs out of the water!

I’m right, so my card collection has to be put to shame? Not going to happen, I’m building a list of banks I need to apply to when this damn purchase completes. Any week now, we’re being told while not being any closer actually.

One of those instances where being honest about everything hasn’t helped you! I’m sure there’s more than just you posting under 18.
Curious though, how has now only become a problem? We knew Jo was under 18 for quite a while. Unless the terms have changed on here?
The Online Safety Act
It’s bringing in new requirements for forums (and other online spaces) to limit engagement between adults and minors; and I suspect suddenly the strict enforcement of the TOS has become very important.
Some smaller forums are preparing to have to shut down entirely, and it will likely be the death knell for the small, special interest forums run by keen individuals like in the old days of the internet.

They frequently bring up their age in various discussions, several times in the most popular ones. A moderator likely noticed this, realised they didn’t meet the T&Cs, and initiated the necessary action from there.
As someone else pointed out, this is a case where honesty has sadly backfired on them. However, it’s a valuable policy, implemented for good reason. While it’s unfortunate, the rules are in place to protect all parties, and once a moderator noticed, the process naturally unfolded from there

On another note why is so nice and sunny but I’m stuck here working inside 
I know! I have a south facing room, so it’s nice and sunny indoors but I can’t keep the window open when in a meeting because they neighbours are doing some landscaping outside…
