General broadband discussion

Never know until you try

So went for Vodafone at the end. Funny enough, someone from Virgin came to knock on the door and offer their broadband today

That still happens?

Should’ve ran them away from the door :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Had Money Expert knock the door recently trying to flog EE. Hard pass because the company is terrible, and EE is expensive.

Shouldn’t be knocking other companies @Carlo1460

What?

:eyes: just winding you up

I can’t find the news report for Money Expert but they were posing as money saving expert on their door to door sales years back to dupe customers into signing up to bad deals.

Ohhhh now that’s not good

Every interaction I have had with EE for mobile or broadband has been excellent and I have great deals on both parts.

They have historically been good to talk to, I just don’t agree with their pricing.

They have some of the rudest staff in my experience. The last lady I spoke to in executive team was horrible.

Had them come to my house too, in an area where OpenReach mac speed is 72Mbps. They completely had no idea. I tried wasting their time and eventually told them that their stuff with slow speeds are more expensive than my Virgin at 500mbps.

If your going to call to houses at least know your product and what your selling to potential customers.
