I’ve a housemate moving in from September and my Three 500gb sim likely isn’t going to be enough for two of us.
Looking at fixed line broadband and it’s fairly expensive, I’m not in an alt net area either. 
May be check https://bidb.uk/ for options around you or go all in with Three mobile broadband. You will have a discount as an existing customer
My sim is through scancom. I could get an unlimited sim for £15pm but I don’t get 5G which is annoying. I will on EE but those sims are a bit expensive.
Any reason why you can’t just sign up to say now tv broadband think they even do monthly no contract could be a simple solution
They may not have Openreach services in the area or other broadband providers or the available speeds are slow AF. At my post code OpenReach can only do max of 67 Mbps, only other provider is Virgin. I know people with kist OpenReach snail speeds alone and no one else.
Many areas still have that problem.
They have now tv, but the Three sim pulls 60-100 down and 30 up which is plenty tbh.
If you only have fttc available and three is similar speeds just stick with them imo and don’t get locked into contracts.
Isn’t ee unlimited capped at 600gb anyway.

My sim is 500gb and I’ve not crossed it apparently, my EE sim I most definitely would have but nothing ever come of it.
Why not just get another 500gb sim and swap half way through each month?
This is an option; I will see how we get on and if we need another it’s no problem.

My giff gaff connection is up and running. It is meant to be 500/500 but seens to be currently 600/600.
The Eero 6+ seems ok for a basic user, I unplugged it and set up the connect as WAN2 on my Unifi network.

I think everyone is! Especially bad if you’re a mobile + broadband customer 
I’m curious to know what caused it. Their press release didn’t make much sense to me.
Third party system/hardware failings sadly.
No network can fully stand on their own sadly
