I realise this is open to some debate but Rand Fishkin of Moz (an authority in SEO) advocates keeping all content on a single subdomain.
Any thoughts on https://community.monzo.com/ vs. https://monzo.com/community?

Much easier though to use a subdomain because Discourse are hosting the forum for us at the moment
