I count 13 different passwords, secure keys, bits of memorable info, etc. saved in my password manager for First Direct. THIRTEEN! :scream::roll_eyes::man_facepalming:

Ditto.

Use mine for cash deposits at the post office, then FP out to Monzo

Same… but I can’t see real difference. They changed black background and that’s it ?

Have people on IOS actually got the update already? A friend on Android received it a few days ago but have not heard of anyone on iOS…

This iOS user doesn’t have it. Same old same old. R-

I’ve banked with FD for over ten years so a week or two isn’t going to make any difference.

So you think it is coming in the next week or so? I’m also really excited about this update. Have moved back our joint finances to fd.

Any feedback on the new app?

I must say it does look quite appealing, but is it functional?

It looks a bit tidier - and faster. R-

2020 year… Still no spending pending transactions in app…
Even TSB app show pending transactions…

Are you sure? My FD app shows pending on all transaction screens. R-

FD Pending

I looked at that this morning. It’s still only DDs and BACS credits. No card transactions.

I’ve banked with FD for about 16 years & they’re an excellent bank. If you call them you get through very quickly & they are attentive & knowledgeable sorting out most issues at first touch. In that time I’ve had various issues with them but they’ve been solved. Their management are also very good. My criticism is they are slow to change and whilst they value feedback it oftem seems to go nowhere. Their online & app offerings aren’t the greatest but it has improved and it’s good enough.

Is there a variance between android and iOS?

I have an FD account, but only for the soon to be deceased 5% regular saver so no pending transaction on my app.

Edit. Just checked my android app and it does actually state “no pending transactions”, so assume it does have that pending transactions feature.

Yeah, that’s what it says when nothing is coming up tomorrow.

When is the 5% stopping? I noticed they do a 2.5% saver which is still really good in this market - guessing that is to replace?

Yes, nice feature… but I’m about card pending transactions. In overall first direct :+1:t2:

It stopped start of April 2019. I took mine out the day before, so matures first week in April.

I have HSBC at 2.75% @£250pm, and Coventry at 2.50% @ £500pm, Santander at 2.50% @ £200pm too.

Noticed Santander is now 2.0% for new customers.

So the lowdown is that the new app has pending DD’s and SD’s but not pending card transactions?

Yep, just the same as HSBC’s app.
