Express Transit Cards in iOS 12.3

It’s not confirmed there & the fact that they’ve spent 2 days checking on it & not confirmed it, suggests that it’s not live.

I charge old phone and record i no need to lie it working

@alexs @Rat_au_van See working I just did it told you no lie!!

A semi-reliable source just told me that it’s working for buses but not the underground yet.

You’re not going mad

I’ve had my card enabled for transit for weeks and couldn’t get it to work, while everyone around me was clearly using the facility.

It started working sporadically about a week ago; it’s now consistent. I ended up paying twice for a fair few journeys before I figured what was going on …

Likely a soft rollout

mine still requires the passcode… :-/ (with great joy of those behind me…)
Maybe it depends on Monzo? God knows… But good for you you made it happen…

yes, still quite crappy though… Sometimes I have to tap it like 5 times before it gets through…

Some gates seem to have issues with mobile payments. There’s one at Clapham North that never allows phones to go through, if you tap you get a red light. I always see it happen to people in front of me. (It’s the middle one of the 3 ‘exit’ gates in the evening).

I can confirm that express transit works on buses, with both Watches and Phones. So much faster, just like using an Oyster card.

I tried it on the Overground this morning and no joy. Need to find a bus soon

I was wondering how quickly people would find out after the silent partial launch.

Can confirm it’s working for me at tube stations but not on national rail services with Oyster Barriers. I guess it’s a gradual rollout before official launch.

You’ve changed. I remember when you shared this stuff.

Which tube stations did it work on for you? I tried at Aldgate East and Picadilly Circus earlier today and it didn’t work for me.

I hope they advertise this to reduce queues of people who fail to pre-arm. It will also be great for people who’s devices support power reserve. If only this was supported for non-transit purchases.
