EIS/SEIS Question

Hello,

I am just wondering if anyone can give me any guidance on SEIS and EIS relief.

I have never earned enough to have to pay income tax, however, I invested in multiple companies through Seedrs and Crowdcube last year (still am making investments).

I received the EIS certificates but never sent them off as I wouldn’t have qualified for any relief since I have never paid tax.

However, I will be starting a job in September and will be paying income tax. Will I be able to claim any relief from investments made last year on this?

Also, I assume that investments made between now and starting the job will be eligible for relief?

Thanks all for any guidance.

Crowdcube has a nice article which explains how EIS and SEIS works in terms of carryback.
