DUPLICATE - Ignore - Savings (Grow) - % Progress (Goal)

Sorry if this has been suggested as a feature request (I remember raising this in a ‘Grow’ thread but not sure it’s a separate feature request to vote on - I can’t even find Feedback/Feature Requests to search on!)

Basically:
In GROW >> SAVINGS >> SAVINGS POTS you can set a GOAL.
It does not provide any indication that my goal is achievable.
I am requesting a feature enhancement to show me that I am “on track” or what I need to do to get back “on track” to achieve my goal.

Example:

My goal is set.

This is what it looks like:

What is the point in asking “Achieve by”?
How do I know I’ve set the right goal?

I’ve also set Roundups:

So this will affect when my goal as I go along, will likely be achieved.

It’s achievable by you adding money to it and checking you’re achieving it. Monzo can’t do everything accountability people.

I presume you’re joking . That’s precisely what all this fancy stuff should be doing. It’s quite a basic thing and seems like they missed something?

The % bar is fine, but I find it a bit useless. What is the point in asking the “Achieve by” date? might as well leave that off entirely?

Not particularly. It depends how people save with Monzo, most likely not automatic amounts every month to fit a goal.

Setting personal goals is a thing, however you achieve it, having a date there is still encouragement/a reminder.

It’s hidden within the input (i.e. edit area), so it’s not a reminder and surely it should be doing something? This is what I mean by Monzo forgetting to finish it?

Will £50 a month get me there? Do I need £150 a month? Who knows! Yes, I can use a calculator and work it out but why when this is so basic it could do it for me? Even Nationwide did it!

Pot Goals: Set a target date

Hi Community I’d like to highlight an idea I have only seen mentioned briefly on another thread but seems lost in amongst the other comments. It would be nice if we could set a target date on savings pots. For example, when you are saving up for spending money on a holiday. You would then set the day of the holiday as the target date and it can track the number of days till you go on holiday and show if you will reach your savings target or not You could then show this progress to the target …

I was going to raise this in the ‘Help’ section because I would’ve thought Monzo be all over this given their intuitive app design and features.
