Out of principle, I do not use the official store.
I do not trust thtird party app stores.
Monzo is demanding I update so I am locked out of my bank.
Can a senior member message the file to me or can Monzo post a direct link to download the app?
Appreciated.
You’re not, because you can download the official version from the App Store.
You’re locking yourself out.
Well this won’t be going anywhere, but, to use the opportunity presented and only for the sake of interest, does anyone know if other banks allow such direct download? Thinking more Big Four than new upstart
A big four bank would tell you to go to the App Store and download this.
Being Android; they could just google the apk for the latest version but doing so from a third party is very risky.
Why people are concerned about the internet but ask strangers on the internet for important files for banking apps is beyond me.

How did you download the app to start with?

Out of interest, do you ever use public WiFi like at Airports?
No bank worth their salt should allow this, official App stores are there for a reason.

(if on Android)
You can download different versions of the app from APK Mirror & sideload
I also have a personal repository of every Monzo app apk file since version 3.20.0 which you can see & download here
