Sounds likely to be sanctions related if it’s to a Russian account, but only Monzo support would be able to answer for sure.

You’re trying to use the easy bank transfer option to the GBP account, but your Revolut account is native Russia?
This is likely why.
If you live in the UK, you’d need to close your Revolut account and reopen as a UK resident.
My Russian friend has sent me a revolut link ( i presume its a russian account)
I input my Uk Monzo debit card & the amount
The monzo app asks me for approval which i accept
Then the payment is declined
Is this a monzo or revolut issue?

It’s a sanctions problem.
UK can’t send money to Russia due to their ongoing fight with Ukraine.
