The overdraft feature isn’t fully rolled out yet, I wouldn’t make assumptions until you have definitive answers.
It could well be your account has not even been evaluated.
We’re also being extremely strict with our lending rules, which might put people off being offered a low overdraft when they are expecting a large one.
I understand the frustration but any of these guesses could be way off the mark.

For other banks and credit cards my credit rating does not say no.
that seems a good indication why some institutions may not offer an overdraft. If not all of the other three banks had offered credit and had you not already had significant credit cards, they may have felt more room for bring able to give credit, i.e. an overdraft.

Yeah, yeah, I know all that stuff. My point here is that I am a good although unusual credit risk, and a potentially a very profitable one to Monzo. But their systems can’t see that. I suspect that under the front end glitz there are some rather basic banking systems.

Maybe. That would be an unusual approach as most banks would offer a facility in the hope that you would use theirs rather than that of a rival.
My fantasy? You said it yourself! Lol not unless you’re the type of person who “forgets” what you have said before…

Not at all. My credit rating is indeed a mixed bag.
My point is that other banks can and do look at it and still make money from me. Not to put too fine a point on it I make a shed-load of money and banks love me. Pretentious, moi?
By contrast, with Monzo we have computer says no
That does not augur well for Monzo profits, although to be fair staff do say that this stuff is in beta
Well if your credit rating is a mixed bag it stands to reason that your financial life will be just as mixed. Some leaders or even most might say yes but your not guaranteed a yes, because of your credit rating.

I don’t really see the whole point of this thread since it just seems to be a bunch of showing off about how much money you have or had rather than finding out specific info about your situation or actually giving Monzo well-intentioned business advice?
(I’m sure they know what to do best with their financial growth and services since we don’t have all the info)
Also, people on here have offered various explanations as to why this may be occuring but you have rejected them all.
If you’d like to find out answers from a staff member about your situation and why you have not been offered one (bearing in mind many regulars have not been offered one despite using Monzo for much longer than you have, since it’s not all rolled out yet), then it would be best to ask in app chat. Personally I don’t think having an overdraft is representative of how much income you have, so I don’t think you need to take it as a personal insult. If somewhere else has offered you a high overdraft, good for you. If Monzo pushes too far with their features before properly testing it in batches they might end up giving out too much to people who can’t repay, and they don’t want to do that.

I have deliberately not responded to any of the numerous comments such as yours which do not address my points but merely go in for cheap personal abuse.
If “I recommend you speak to staff in chat for specific info about your situation about a service that isn’t offered to everyone yet” is personal abuse then idk tbh. It’s clear you don’t want to hear an answer other than “yes, Monzo have made a mistake and will give you one right now”

There was no personal abuse on the post from what I read, just the cold hard truth. Guess someone can demand Monzo give him a overdraft as he has loads of money but can’t handle the truth…

Read that again and tell me how that is abusive. Maybe staff can close this thread and take it into DM since we’re going around in circles

It’s differences of opinion as makes a horse race.
“The truth” can well be rude.
And I see we now have those who think they are not being rude asking for thread deletion.
No the truth is just the truth, nothing more nothing less. If you want to take offence then that’s on you.
Don’t you know the definition of the word maybe?

Thread closing* not deletion. No one is shutting down your right to ~freedom of speech~
Plus a request for staff members to respond to you so you don’t embarrass yourself any more and you can finally get the answers you want. That is all.

Yep this thread sure is embarrassing.
