Hi @anon85157220 - Custom categories has been mentioned before and it’s something that I believe Mondo are planning to look into further through the use of tags etc. More information is available on the following threads:
Today I used my card at the optician and it comes up as “general”. Looking at the categories I realised there’s not a category which fits well for “personal wellbeing” or “health”. Say I have a gym membership, I wouldn’t count that as entertainment or shopping, and ditto for doctors, yoga, even e.g. massages or haircuts don’t really fit. Two features I think we need:
The ability to create custom categories.
The ability to split a transaction across multiple categories. Eg a big shop at the supermarket could well contain several categories of spending rather than just all be groceries.
