I got over 11k Pi, but over 6k Pi probably will get burnt as it falls into “unverified balance” 
It’s because most of my invited people stopped mining ages ago, but I was still on higher rate
It’s just another form of gambling.
It is concerning because I know of people (not directly) who invest and at times lose so much. Then start chasing losses.
Even with Bitcoin. They believe it’s the start of the next big trend, but nothing is guaranteed.

If you’re looking for quick gains, this is pretty much spot-on.
But if you invest in Bitcoin with a view to leaving it for 5, 10, 15 years and beyond, it’ll grow beyond traditional investments*
