Coutts Chat

I think that you go with Coutts for the Service and the Banking Managers you get. Not just for a card design.

Starling Bank picks up within 2 minutes in my experienceā€¦ I donā€™t need support any faster than thatā€¦

I assume that with you paying very very very high fees to be with Coutts you get a dedicated number to your Personal Banking Manager.

So would be very quick

Fairs.

Coutts exists for a reason, and if people want it, thatā€™s fine. Iā€™m not about to judge people because of it

Iā€™d just rather use a ā€œregularā€ bank personally.

Probably hard to really know how weā€™d use a service like Coutts without having the financial position to be eligible for it as itā€™s a whole different world to most of us. At that point you would need more from a bank. If someone has the money for Coutts they probably wouldnā€™t be using Monzling.

Well letā€™s ask.

@harrysj12341234 Besides Coutts do you have any other Current Accounts like Monzo or Lloyds?

Everyone has different earning rates depending on assets held with the bank.

The maximum you can earn is 1.5 crown per Ā£1 spent either on debit or credit.

Itā€™s easy to rack up points as you can earn on both credit and debit. I never fail to have a pool of points.

I have no interest in the card design.

I go for the service and the banking/borrowing facilities they offer both to private clients and commercial clients.

For me itā€™s having the named contact you I can call, email and I also meet in person.

You have a Wealth Manager assigned to you to handle your investment affairs too.

I have a current account with HSBC (Private Account) and a Lloyds (Private Account).

The Lloyds Private is a joint account.

Sole HSBC Private account.

Sole and joint Coutts accounts.

Thatā€™s it for current accounts.

Monzo and Starling, Iā€™m not interested in as they have nothing to suit my needs and borrowing is very limited for my circumstances.

You must love annual fees

I donā€™t pay much notice.

Iā€™m more than happy to pay for a service if I see it has benefits. Which to me it does.

I guess I can only speak for myself.

My heart hurts when my Ulster Bank, AMEX & Lloyds Fees leave my account .

I pay like Ā£13 a month for Ulster and Lloyds then like Ā£180 or whatever the AMEX Gold card is at the moment and I dread those Fees leaving.

Would love to never think about the fees :sleepy:

My only credit card fees are for the Amex Platinum and Centurion.

Isnā€™t the centurion card like Ā£10K a year??

Nope that was the joining fee, annual fee is around Ā£3000 a year.

My joining fee was slightly less given the year I joined.

Thatā€™s like my monthly salary for a fu***g credit card!!!

I certainly get my use and worth out of it.

The same with Coutts Silk, I use that in any establishment that does not take Amex.

Plus the Coutts debit card is fee free abroad.
