We love our vibrant community and want to share something we’re working on that’ll introduce the forum to a wider number of Monzonauts and let us share some of the wonderful feature ideas from the community with everyone.
This little in-app flow will be accessible from the home screen and will let you swipe through a handful of highlighted feature ideas from the forum with links to the respective posts:
We’re still deciding exactly the best way to present this/ how this will work, but these screenshots should give your a good idea of what to expect! As always, we’d love to hear what you think
We’ll initially build this for the pre-paid app, but if the highlights are well liked, we’ll definitely bring them over to the current account app as well
I think they’re going to be really useful to everyone that we bring across to from a traditional bank. Most of us know a lot of this stuff as we’ve been here a while but it’s going to be a good discovery tool!
Sorry, I’m not sure I’m following what this is. Is this a sort of “Things we’re thinking of” tab in the app?
If so, I think that’s great. Will there be an option for people to upvote ideas they like & send comments on them? Could be a great way of getting some involvement from those who don’t want to come onto the forums - and perhaps there could be a little prompt for people who leave a lot of feedback for different ideas to check out the forum
Interesting idea! For now, we’ll be keeping this very light and informational only, which means that likes and other activity will still all be on the forum. By building the most lightweight implementation to start with, we can test different things and see what works
Just following up from Vuokko’s sneak peek - I’ve made some long overdue updates/additions to the Extraordinary Ideas board, (where the crème de la crème of community suggestions feature!) I’d like to include some of these in the first version of the community in app pages.
It would be great to know which Monzo related extraordinary ideas have grabbed your attention or maybe even sparked a lightbulb moment of your own!
As a side note, we’re going to kick start more regular updates of this board
