Really love the bright coral card but the Boyfriend and I want a joint Monzo card and it would be fab if the joint card could be a different colour 
Purple came to mind but won’t be easy to grab out of purse/wallet if both cards are same colour

I doubt they will make it the same colour as their main fintech opponent!
The final design for the joint account’s cards was shared on the Making Monzo twitter account & unfortunately for you, they’re still hot coral.

I guess Monzo wanted to stick with their trademark colour 
hopefully the bold label in the top left will make it simple to spot which card is your joint account’s.
