Are boredom purchases ever good purchases?

Those cucu card covers… had to have the bank logo as it would have thrown me not having it.

Probably will get pealed off when I’m sick of it

Edit:
(The quality of the image is quite nice I don’t know why it comes out bad on the pic but)

Postman’s been. Happy with both of these:

Yep. It’s a really nice acid yellow.

My plus card has unexpectedly reappeared in Apple Pay after it went to Hot Coral with the changeover to Monzo Extra.

No complaints from me - looks much better

Really love that card

Looking around the HSBC website, I found what looks like an image of the complete collection of the 2021 redesign. (A selection of HSBC UK cards launched in 2021 - HSBC History)

Lots of interesting cards there, some of which I’d seen before and others I had no idea about. The Welsh one is intriguing - I wonder what you need(ed) to do to get one of those.

I desperately need the Welsh one being a customer in South Wales, looks really nice :eyes:

A Welsh language credit card issued by Midland Bank - HSBC History

I suspect it’s a nod to this

Interesting to see the whole suite of designs, in terms of the most rare it probably has to be the ā€œfuel EV cardā€ followed by the private and Jade ones. The hill I’ll die on is the one with the lions though. :joy:

The rarest is probably the Welsh one as I genuinely cannot find an image outside the above.

Maybe the Welsh one was a concept that never materialised?

Same for the Fuel EV card. Only reference to it is from HSBC Continental Europe and from UK.

My mortgage completes on Friday, so will be going a bit haywire with account applications on Saturday. Defo gonna add the Aussie one for upcoming trip, but mainly as it looks great

Yes can’t wait for the physical one to arrive

What I found surprisingly useful was being able to look at the case tracker of the solicitor and respond to things before they even had a chance to send a letter or even email. Also very useful was physically going and handing in letters rather than posting as that cut out about a week of delay in the post.

The solicitor got the case on January 30th and completion on March 7th. Hand delivery stripped out about three or four weeks!

What surprised me was just how many things were on the solicitor’s to do list. 175 up to today, so likely topping out around 180.

Keeping on top of their tracker and hand delivery of letters really speeded it up.

Turns out that, contrary to what Nationwide said, you can pay up to Ā£100k to a new payee, so long as you’ve set them up with the card reader. But, no card reader required for the payment!
