Afaik I think it’s just AIB (NI) who “limit” it to Northern Irish residents. Bank of Ireland, you can open an account online through their UK website but AIB (NI), you have to physically go into a branch located in Northern Ireland. The website does note you need to be a UK resident which gives the impression if you’re on holiday and want to open one… feel free

To open a new Classic Account, simply call in to your local AIB branch or call us on 0345 6005 925† if you would prefer to make an appointment.
Please note you must be a UK resident to open an account with us.

Ooh, unfortunately I don’t live in an eligible country at present. Oh well. I already have an HK account which fulfills my multi-currency needs.

Curious whether anyone here has tried a custom Barclays card. Do they come out as expected or are they muted/oversaturated when they come out the print?

Contemplating getting one but don’t want to swap an okay card for something objectively bad.

I didnt like how “soft” mine looked when I had it back in 2021- couldve been a bad batch and with the new refresh they could look better, but personally ill never go with one again.

I’ll put my chin out here - I’ve never had a bad one. I’ve had two and both looked great.

I can’t tell you why, but they were.

I just detest the app.

Oh trust me there are far more negative reviews on here than positive.

I just haven’t had any bad ones. The ones I had were great, and I was very pleased with them.
