They didn’t like that a lot of my Income comes from Investments and Dividends. So i’m having my income verified.
I was surprised that my mortgage solicitor didn’t even have an option on their source of funds form for SIPP. Still, perhaps solicitors still live in the 20th century ![]()
My sellers solicitors misplaced a document and waited an entire month to request it again. A month wasted, just like that ![]()
Mine didn’t appear to do stupid stuff but I think keeping on top of their task tracking really kept things moving along.
Mine didn’t have a way to track like that, but were generally good a kept me in the loop. The sellers solicitors were the problem.
Then here’s one just for you- the Japan Airlines prepaid MasterCard. Vertical design, rather busy.
It’s multi-currency which is nice but the rates aren’t very competitive. What is nice is that the card can be used instead of a boarding pass for domestic flights- tap at security, tap at gate. Seat info prints out on a little slip at security.
It’s a very Japanese design aesthetic for sure.
Reckon it needs to say JAL a few more times
Just got a new phone and I couldn’t be bothered re-adding all 12 cards from my old phone, so keeping it simple for now I guess ![]()
I like the design I just find it feels flimsy.
One good thing about embossed cards is they felt sturdier and thicker.
Is it your first premier card? My card isn’t for a new account so it might be that they only send the slide-out packaging to new customers to welcome them to premier.
I noticed this as well.
Oddly the premier card shows when selecting “card payment controls” then “contactless”.
British Museum?
Where green Amex at though
I agree. My previous HSBC Premier (non embossed) went around the world in my pocket with little to no damage or misshaping.
The Lloyds card appears to have already slightly bent in just under a month.
