Collected thoughts on card design (Part 1)

That’s interesting, I had absolutely no idea you could do that. So I could add ‘Fancy pants’ to my silly sort code card?

There’s probably reasonable limits to what can be added to the card.

If you can find a customer support agent willing to make that change, yes.

Put a little sticker on the card and hand write Ulster on it

By all means, give it a try and let us know how you get on!

Finally updated in Apple Pay….

I didn’t have the ring around my first direct card until I added the balance to wallet and then it showed.

It seems to be a new thing for black/dark cards on Apple Pay.

Mine too :+1:

I also wasn’t aware of this. Thanks for pointing it out and for the link.

You’re most welcome!

Can I just check, was that automatically? So you didn’t have to re-add the card? Thanks

I removed and re-added the card

Thanks for the quick response.

Just wondering has anyone ever had a card update automatically in Apple Pay? Even if it’s taken much longer than those who have gone down the re-add route? Thanks

Not sure that’s a thing? The card usually stays the way it looks when it’s added and won’t change until you manually change it.

Someone else could correct me though.

Vile. Really liked that they had the cube stuff. Cancelled the card last month at the right time.

It’s probably a bit too simple but I still like it. Do prefer the standard purple version. Always a fan of some colour.

I had my Yonder card update itself! Was miffed as it’s not as nice as before!

HSBC Kinetic changed the card design to follow the new standard look, sort of.

Shame they don’t make the kinetic app available to personal customers.
