Is this new or was it always the non embossed on the premier page?
Not new. That non embossed image has always been there, you get the same card just with the embossed details.
Apparently the Chase card has a hidden logo in the centre that shows up when you shine UV light to it.
I watched a Lloyds Bank ad on YouTube earlier, and, interestingly, the horse faces forward in the animation of it kicking up its front legs.
The Lloyd’s Bank X page also displays the horse facing forward.
First time I’ve ever seen Lloyds depict the horse in this way. I don’t think it has faced forward before.
It’s been like this since day 1, it was introduced around Halloween in 2021 just after launch? ![]()
It does indeed. It came as a surprise when I used my card in a nightclub and saw the glowing Chase logo in the middle of the card.
I like the Max card more than I expected from comments on here (especially the holographic edges). But the Wise card is ![]()
Why? You have enough debit cards with it on! ![]()
I’ve never really looked at business cards - what’s the ease of opening them like? Do banks tend to require much more than a vague “I’m intending to use it for occasional consulting on X” for the purpose of opening? My understanding is they mostly don’t require an actual company to open them?
Some business accounts are much harder then other to open. Some require you to visit them in a branch with some paperwork to show that the business has got money going in and stuff like that.
Lloyds literally took like 15 minutes on my Laptop and the account was active and card was on the way.
Lloyds Business is my side account for my Business and my bank account for my Business is Monzo Business for the debit card and main holdings for my Business Credit Card i Got Natwest Business.
Do you know if they send a new card if you downgrade from platinum to club? they dont with club to standard.
Yes, you will get the Club Lloyds Card
I thought Lloyds didn’t change unless you request?
I’m sure it tells you in the upgrade downgrade process if they’re going to replace it, mine never have been I don’t think.
Everytime i have downgraded my account or upgraded it they have replaced the card. Mainly the reason I have so many Lloyds Banking Group Cards
They certainly stopped doing that with the club cards a few years back.
Says “you can keep using your current card and pin but may send you a new one depending on the account you’re changing from”.
I’ve never had auto replacement I don’t think. Not had platinum since I stopped working for them, so don’t remember.
