Collected thoughts on card design (Part 1)

I received my FlexDirect card, I think they are very pain and boring

Reckon NatWest has changed theirs also?

Uswitch seems to think so, they have the same design for both:

Each bank’s website still shows the old design though.

You know what, they look really nice! Would love to see how it would look in the flesh, or on Apple Pay when people start receiving them.

larger version:

RBS: (exact same thing)

Bringing the cards designs in line like this really reinforces that NatWest is for England and RBS is for Scotland and there should be no overlap.

Curious if NI will have the same.

Looks like the Fluid credit card.

Is someone game to try opening an Ulster account again? Just got rid of mine in Nationwide CASS.

Oh yes I can see it a little bit actually

If RBS have a new card design I may ask for a replacement card from Ulster.

just applied for a payz card as i like the design (https://payz.com/)

Strangely I did not even need any Identification or proof of address just my name and address nothing else.

It’s a prepaid right?

Yes however all other prepaid accounts it required ID and/or proof of address with more personal details like DOB and phone number.

That’s quite strange then, I’d probably question the legitimacy of the firm or integrity at least if they are allowing customers to open accounts without KYC checks even if it is not an official bank.

Can’t see much about them online and the AppStore reviews are terrible. Wouldn’t put my personal details near them at the moment.

Strange? Not an official design?

Weird, wonder why Uswitch have it then.

Maybe not all of NatWest customer service are aware yet

This is probably a real transformation, as there are many new designs for these NatWest cards
