My card hasn’t held up very well considering I’ve rarely used it physically.
But totally understand why given the materials they’ve used.

I did go into a branch, but not sure that’s compulsory (like it is with Nationwide). My savings accounts both existed already and they just ordered a card.

Still hoping Barclays will update their debit card designs to match the new Barclaycards. My Avios Rewards BC is probably my favourite in my wallet at the moment - very minimalist.
Yea they are due for an refresh, although I don’t know if the Avios Mastercards ones are better but the Forward/Rewards that I’ve seen are really cheap feeling cards, and the core moves so the chip doesn’t align.
Much prefer the current Debit card other than the embossed details.

World Elite MasterCard | Travel Credit Card - HSBC UK but doesn’t mention metal at a glance.

The US credit card is easily to get, but the credit limit is so low for not residency in the US. I recommend UK credit card the best.

I believe you can withdraw money from the savings account at ATMs, but not use it to spend directly.
