Great haul. I don’t have that To The Moon colour (mine’s orange) and I need to get a vertical Hyperjar card too.
Does this mean they’ll be an international flavour to your collection?
They probably use a wallet sized briefcase!
If you don’t use them is there a likelihood they could be cancelled by the card provider?
I don’t think the big collectors worry about them working and in most instances, if they could have paid a few quid for the card, that would have saved everyone the time and hassle creating a new account.

Of course
Starling debit (Mastercard), Child & Co. (ie. RBS) debit (Visa), Nationwide credit (Visa) and Amex credit.
That’s when I carry a wallet, which is less than 50% of the time.
I know Lloyds and Santander won’t send a replacement card automatically if usage of the account is low, but it’s easily ordered if wanted.

Latest haul - I don’t hate the HSBC ones as much as I thought I would. Halifax Clarity is quite a nice colour. Also like the FlexPlus & C&C ones a lot.
I had this thought yes, and is why I don’t hate the NatWest debit that a lot of people don’t like, as at least they’ve tried something different and I respect that. There’s minimalist and there’s boring and unoriginal. I’d quite like if the HSBC logos were maybe a more similar colour to the background and tessellated across the card with a slight sheen on them, so a more subtle logo but still visible and a much more interesting design. I guess a massive logo is just the easiest way of getting some brand recognition.
This is what I love about this thread - I’m actually for it, looks quite nice to me but nice to see alternative viewpoint’s
Still preferred the lion card, tho
Same, and I think they could achieve a similar effect with tessellated logos, being a hexagon and all.
So it turns out if you do the C&C trick, and then open another regular RBS account the normal way, that also gets opened as a C&C account with the same sort code. I don’t know if this was already known, but it seems to be set at customer level not account level. Which I suppose makes sense thinking about it.
I opened a DRS last week and have all the information, but it’s not appearing in online/mobile banking yet. How long did yours take?
That’ll make it more difficult for me to get regular RBS cards in the future
Who am I kidding? I’m never getting the posh hut.
It has appeared in the app this morning

I’m watching The Secret Genius Of Modern Life on BBC iPlayer, about how bank cards work. Very interesting.
A brief shot of a very familiar Hot Coral card, when the presenter discussed how cards are now designed to be ‘brand identifiable’ before a huge section on how Starling manufactures its cards
Seriously, thoroughly interesting telly for us card geeks.
