Choose not to receive physical card

Just had an in app prompt to replace my :mondo: debit card as it’s due to expire.

The flow was really nice but I’d love to have had the option to not replace my physical card and simply stick with Apple Pay and view card details in app for online purchases.

Better for environment + I assume cheaper for monzo.

Choose not to receive physical card

I never use my Monzo card, or any other bank card for that matter. I use Apple Pay for everything (mostly for the convenience). My card is a waste of resources, if I had the option I wouldn’t have got it. During signup I think you should be asked whether you need a card, with the ability to opt out of receiving a card. Of course if you needed your card at a future date you could simply order one (they come so fast). I simply think that Monzo is churning out a huge amount of plastic to people …

I Think this is a use case for a curve card

Until your phone fails, there’s a faulty cantactless reader, or you need cash.

This is a silly idea in my honest opinion.
