Choose account when requesting money

On the payments tab when I go to request money I cannot count the amount of times I have requested it from my joint account rather than my personal account.

Unsure if anyone else has this where the app seems to default to a joint account on the payment page but if you had the option to choose an account while requesting money or would be much clearer rather then choosing in the previous menu.

I agree that an account picker during the process AFTER tapping on ‘Request money’ would be better, but you can currently select the preferred Monzo account from the top-left of the Payments screen BEFORE tapping on ‘Request money’:

I annoy myself every time but still never remember the next time :joy: I think the fact it stays on the most recent selected account on that page is what throws me off as even if I have been looking through my personal account on the home page when I go onto the payments page it might still be on joint account.

That’s why as you say it would be useful but not the end of the world or even every time you go onto the payments page it would default to your personal account so there is some consistency to it… But all user error and a very minor issue!
