I initially snubbed it, but then I found it a great stoozing opportunity.
I have been failing the eligibility from launch even last week I failed one.
But I have checked eligibility for other cards and I am eligible, also got Nationwide decent limit one month ago.
I guess Chase will be like Amex who always say I am not eligible for anything.
I wanted it to just be added to my cards collection. I still have active purchases offers from Lloyds and Natioonwide. Closed a Barclaycard that had 9 months remaining when they began reducing my limit each statement month.
Iâm eligible but donât want it
I read an article the other day that Chase are bringing the Credit Card to everyone by the end of June / early July.
I also now have it and am eligible.
Just got it - donât really need it but got a good limit on it.
I got offered ÂŁ12.5k but not applying for it. Donât need it.
15k limit offered. Iâll wait until my 0% Barclaycard runs out and switch.
Hopefully theyâll have integrated it more by then and allow payments from outside Chase.
I reckon itâs another way of keeping customers within their ecosystem, like Monzo Flex. They want you to use both their current account and credit card!
Itâs kind of working with me, making me think about it anyway!
Do many people use it as a spending account these days? Iâm not sure which will work out better for me for all my weekly spends - my Lloyds credit card with 0.25/0.50% cashback on everything or Chase cashback 1% on limited things!
Theyâve offered me over 3 times the credit limit that NatWest gave me recently. Not going to go with it, though, as I have far more credit than I know what to do with already.
They offered me more than five of my existing credit cards, so I took them up on their offer and maxed it out in about four months. Now just paying their hefty minimum payments of 2.5% (rounded up to the ÂŁ), while the money for it sits in savings at 7% (until next month anyway).
Win. Win.
Currently using a 0% purchases card off another provider now. Same process. Credit limit amount sits in a high(er) interest savings account, ready for paying off the balance in full at the end of the promotion.
Chase debit card has not been used for months now tbh.
Chase are officially launching the credit card to everyone - Chase App just got an update on iOS with these release notes.
But can everyone apply?
They still havenât let people who left rejoin.
âEveryoneâ means all customers as opposed to a phased rollout like it was to start with, you still need a current account as it says in the terms. So if youâve left you wouldnât be able to apply.
Iâm aware of what it meant
Iâm just frustrated at Chase.
