✅ Charity Category on Summary Page

Hi Monzo

I don’t usually post suggestions on forums like this but… you should add a CHARITY category to the spending categories on the summary page.

Bringing together all charitable giving under one heading like that would help people to manage the money they give away but also (I think) incentivise people to give more.

It’s a small change, but it could make a big difference. Especially during the winter months.

Let me know what you think.

You should already see the Charity spending category in the app, but if not then try updating to the latest version from the App/Play store!

[iOS] Charity Category

Looks like it’s been on beta since 13th April so quite a while. There was some talk about a revamp of categories in line with the new navigation as well I believe so maybe it’s on hold during that work. Should probably update the title to [iOS] for the benefit of others.

White ribbon logo for Charity appears just above General.

I never noticed it before, probably because I wasn’t looking for it since I last donated via Monzo, and used the hashtag feature instead, i.e. charity Just as easy to view them all then.
