Or hand embossing to remember their card number .
Exactly
The Monzo card looks like it came out of a Xmas cracker, cheap and nasty, almost an embarrassment to use, one could maybe get over the dreadful colour if it were of better quality
I love the colour and I think the quality is excellent, especially on a coral core card - The plastic is very good, I couldnāt get one to delaminate no matter how hard I tried, justā¦ absolutely fantastic quality.
Other than the white embossing film, I donāt know what you could fault about the quality.
As for Amex, noted above - some of their cards are good, some are awful and delaminate at the thought of being used. The clear ones are great. They feel like different plastic, perhaps polypropylene? Iām not a materials scientist, so donāt hold me to that - but they definitely have that slick feel of polypropylene.
Just to highlight that the White colour on the 16 digit number across the card, plus my name on the card has started to wear off already just from being in my wallet since 12th July. (replacement card), I not even used it in an ATM or at a Card Reader yet!
