This really depends on where you are hiring the car from.
Most car hire places require a card with your name on which isn’t something you can provide with a Monzo card currently 
Saying that, there are one or two reports back from community members who have successfully used Monzo to hire a car abroad so worth checking to see if their experiences could offer any further guidance.
