Can you please employ more staff over bank holidays?

Its a really long story but here goes… I use my Monzo for pretty much everything, so i don’t have my NatWest card (my bad i know) this meant i could only transfer the money using my Monzo card so i sent the money into my Monzo account using my android pay, then i would have been able to send the money from my Monzo to my Skipton LISA. I realise this is probably in no cases ever a good thing to do haha, but its also slightly besides the point. The main thing I was getting at, is that Monzo should be able to sort through these kinds of problems on bank holidays, as my NatWest account was able to. I’m also only making comment to try and improve Monzo.

Thanks, I got an email from a Monzo specialist this morning and they’ve requested a bank statement from NatWest so hopefully this should all be sorted now.

In case of Monzo I think the daily FPS limit (15k) is a catch-all rule that would definitely raise alerts and might even freeze the account.

Out of curiosity, @danhartley, when your account was frozen how does the app behave - is there an UI for that, a feed item, etc? Would you be able to post a screenshot (blanking out sensitive info)? Thanks!
