Can’t find a contact to create a joint account

I am trying to start a joint account with my wife but she doesn’t appear on my contacts to ask to join. I can send her money but don’t know how to get round this?

Does she have a Monzo account?

I don’t recall if this is accurate or not, but I believe you both need to have “Payments with friends” switched on (this is on the Privacy & Security section of your profile). Make sure you both have this set on.

Oh, and what @Revels said, she needs a Monzo personal account first.
