Our established business (10+ years in operation with significant transaction volume) is currently being flagged as potentially fraudulent by Monzo.
I’m trying to understand why this might be happening. The only potential discrepancy I can identify is that our business details show “Near Manchester, England” when we are actually based in London.
Has anyone else encountered a similar situation? If so, how did you resolve it?
@BenC Yes, that is correct. In this case, it was me doing a test payment on our site, so would I be able to contact support and determine why it was flagged?
If you were trying to make a payment from your own Monzo account, then you could ask support. Unsure if they would have access to the right information to help though.
Having a payment to your business flagged doesn’t mean your business is being judged in any way. A lot of payments to huge well known firms get flagged too.
It’s mostly about the customer account, not who they are trying to pay.
