Monzo showing wrong merchant information in App

Hi,

We are a merchant and have many customers who bank with monzo. We have had started to receive calls from unrelated businesses suggesting that they are showing up on customers bank statements, sometimes as their company name and sometimes as our name and their address (how we found out).

In addition we have had several customers report the issue to us directly that when we charge their card it shows an unrelated business on the statement. We have finally been able to get a screenshot and proof it was Monzo the customer banked with.

Obviously due to the sensitive nature of the data etc, can someone from Monzo reach out so we can get to the bottom of this. It is confusing customers, causing chargebacks and generally very puzzling!
