Budgets - exceptional spending

Hi everyone!

I recently spent over a grand on some exceptional spending which was outside my planned budgeted spending. This was a planned one off; but for the whole of this month my budget is showing as over spent by over £1000.

It would be good to be able to mark exceptional spending transactions so they don’t get included in the budget or that they appear in a separate section marked ‘exceptional spending’

Click on the transaction scroll to the bottom. Exclude from summary.

I believe if you go on the transactions in question, the toggle ‘Exclude from Spending Summary’ that will do what you are looking for.

Thanks. I’ve excluded it now. Appreciated the screen shot too.

Hope this helps bring this function to others attention who didn’t realise this is possible.

Just shows how well polished Monzo is!
