With Monzo Mobile using Virgin Media O2’s network, could Monzo look at introducing O2 Satellite, powered by Starlink, to its mobile plans?
O2 has already launched satellite connectivity to improve coverage in rural areas and traditional signal blackspots, supporting messaging, mobile data and WhatsApp calls.
It would be brilliant if Monzo Mobile customers could benefit from this technology too, particularly as the underlying network already supports it. It would be a great selling point and help make Monzo Mobile even more competitive.
Is this something Monzo could explore introducing, either as a standard feature or an optional add-on?
