Best Laptop For Gaming, Expert Advice to Choose

I researched the best laptop for gaming as I’ve been trying to upgrade from my old setup because it keeps lagging during online matches and even crashes during heavier games. i have been experiencing a lot of frame drops, overheating, and honestly it’s getting frustrating because I can’t enjoy my games the way I used to. i went through reviews from trusted sources like PCMag, WhatHiFi, Tom’s Hardware, and a few YouTube tech reviewers, and after comparing many options these two kept coming up as the top choices:

however, i am having trouble deciding which one would be better for me and i would love to get your expert advice and hoping maybe some gamers, tech enthusiasts, or anyone who has used these models on this forum can also share their advice. i usually play a mix of FPS and open-world games, and I prefer something that can stay cool and maintain stable performance, so I’m wondering which one would be more recommended for me? any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.

Both solid choices for a gaming laptop yeah!

Both of them have got very solid specs and will last for a number of years!

Looking at both of them I would personally for the Asus ROG.

My reason for this choice are:

  • Newer GPU - RTX 5060
  • Better Wifi - Wifi-7 Connectivity
  • Better Display - High Refresh Rate at 165Hz (will feel buttery smooth)
  • Upgradeability - With the ROG you are able to upgrade the RAM and SSD in the future to further future proof the laptop.

Again both of these are solid choices and they will both last you the next 4 to 5 years in my opinion.
